Q. Why should I cellar my wine with The Winebank at Guardian?A. Simple: Climate controlled, accessible, secure, value for money cellarage! The Winebank at Guardian takes the storage of your wine very seriously. We have carefully designed our facilities and processes to ensure the safety, security and integrity of your wine. Together with our multi-level security systems, our purpose built cellarage facilities enjoy optimal temperature and relative humidity conditions.
Return to top of page.Q. Will my wine be safe & secure?A. Yes, it is absolutely safe. Once your wine is in your private cellar it is fully secured by the use of back to base monitoring, extensive use of closed circuit security video cameras that record images 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition there exist multiple levels of access control, and a fire detection system.
Return to top of page.Q. What Cellarage options are available?A. Our focus is on providing you with the best possible private cellarage facilities that you are able to access at your leisure, 7 days/week. Our staff would be pleased to discuss your requirements in more detail with you.
Return to top of page.Q. How do I reserve and rent a private wine cellar?A. You can book your private wine cellar can over the telephone, e-mail or in person. Completing the
Cellarage Application Form and e-mailing, faxing or mailing it to us will help to secure the right cellar for you. We will also ask you to sign the Storage Agreement. Please

Return to top of page.Q. What are the options for account payment?A. We ask that you pay for your wine cellar rental one month in advance. To ensure that your account is kept up to date, we recommend that you complete an automated payment authority. We will automatically debit your designated bank account or credit card on the date that your account becomes due and payable.
Alternatively we accept payment of your account via Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard, and also accept personal and business cheques. You will be sent monthly invoices that must be paid within 7 days from the date of issue.
We do not impose long binding contracts; however you are welcome to pay for longer periods in advance if it is more convenient. Similarly, many of our customers choose to pay by direct debit, particularly if going away for an extended period of time.
Return to top of page.Q. How do I access my private cellar?A. As a client of The Winebank, you are able to access your private cellar at your leisure as often as you like, 7 days/week. To access your cellar you will need to use your personal security codes for PIN access and have your key.
In addition, The Winebank at Guardian provides a range of trolleys and handling equipment to make it easy for you to transfer your wine to and from your vehicle. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable about how to use any equipment, we will be happy to show you the right way.
Return to top of page.Q. Can I change my cellar at any time if I need a smaller or larger one?A. You can transfer your wine collection to a larger or smaller cellar at anytime. Just contact one of our staff members to discuss your requirements.
Return to top of page.Q. How do I keep track of my wine?A. The Winebank at Guardian is delighted to provide our clients with an Online Wine Cellar account to manage your wine collection at no additional charge. The Online Wine Cellar enables you to keep a record of wines you currently have or have had in your collection. When you rent your Private Cellar we will supply you with a passcode to enable access to your personal online cellar account.

When you store wine with The Winebank at Guardian, you will receive a username and password which allow you to keep track of your wine storage on our online database. This is a handy tool provided free of charge.

Return to top of page.Q. How do I insure my wine while it is in my private cellar?A. The Winebank at Guardian recommend that all our clients insure their wine. Some insurance providers offer homeowner’s insurance that insures wine stored off-premises – please contact your insurance provider to confirm their policy.
The Winebank is able to provide insurance for your wine cellared at our facilities at very competitive rates.
